Attendance

If your student needs to be absent a parent/guardian should call the school to inform them of the name of the student and the reason why.  (Ima Indian will be absent today. She has a headache and fever. Thanks, Mrs. Indian.) The best way to report an absence is to call the school's absence hotline. If this is not possible, write a short note to the school to explain why your child was out and send it in with your child when they go back to school.  Do not message your student's teacher. If your child has an appointment or seeks medical attention, please provide the office with a doctor's excuse.

 If you know in advance your student will be absent, please complete the Pre-Arranged Absence form available at the students main office. (Obligations vary between buildings.) Filling out this form DOES NOT automatically mean that your student's absence will be excused.
